Reclaim Your Feminine Sensual Energy That May Be Shackled To Your Ancestors
I have been inspired these last few months by my body, soul, and the collective to explore the beauty and strength of our feminine essence.
What we need to understand is, our raw sensual energy is a significant part of our feminine life force. Our sexuality also goes much deeper than the physical act of sex and orgasms, it’s an awakening in itself.
Our feminine nature encourages us to dance between the contractions of the Earth and the Universe and then expand into the ethers of bliss.
It’s an ebb and flow, and it requires us to honour ourselves and embody all our emotions to surrender to this medicine.
Our bodies play a deep role in our sensuality, and sexuality gives us profound access to our spirituality. It should turn us on and light us up.
If we don’t honour our heart and body as they ebb and flow with our spirit we’ll cut ourselves off from the universal flow that we’re all connected to.
Our sexuality is the epitome of embracing ourselves as a spiritual being in a physical body, and as a soul living here on earth. Our sexuality in some sense is the bridge between the two.
Our sensual energy grants us access to move big energy through the entirety of our being. When moving big energy the contractions and expansion of shedding, and rebirthing are in full force inevitably meaning we’ll dance in the shadows, and the shadows of shedding must be honoured for the joy of expansion to blossom.
This may at times mean using sex as a healing tool to move and process grief or anger, not just joy and ecstasy. There may be periods of celibacy where we don’t share our energy with another. Or there may be times when we don’t want to activate more movement and instead need inner stillness to recalibrate and find balance in new places of being.
These are the seasons that we must experience to honour our femininity.
HOW FEMININE ESSENCE FLOWS
Our heart and womb are energetically woven, opening them both at the same time is an act of feminine reclamation.
Nobody ever talks about the contracting side of our sexual energy because we’ve been taught to be ashamed of it.
We can use either our heart to open our womb or our womb to open our heart. They’re soul mates in this sense, and we women are blessed to experience the sacredness of the two together. Their opening together may be the most vulnerable and powerful state that we can surrender to.
Sexual energy expands and contracts to alchemise our spirit, by surrendering to this dance it illuminates our heart and our sovereignty.
If we resist surrendering to this dance it dims our life force because we violate our own innate wisdom and push ourselves out of alignment.
If we shut down and close off completely, or weaken the boundaries our heart longs for, we solidify disempowering stories within our body and soul that don’t need to exist. By doing this, we teach ourselves that our heart and womb aren’t valid or safe to be as they are.
Sexual energy is spiritual energy.
Feminine sensual energy is the portal that brings spirit into being.
Women have every right to experience sex for pure pleasure, if you feel shame around this, you may find your ancestors' trauma is residing in your body. Our yoni and womb are the gateways between spirit and earth.
Our sensuality can heal the soul, unfortunately, though, women have been taught that being sexually satisfying is their lifeline to love and their lifeline to being wanted.
Some women may not have felt this before, but collectively it’s a thick and dense presence affecting more of us than we think. Whether from personal experience, from our ancestral roots, or witnessing it in others. There is truth to it, and it’s a painful truth to break.
OUR SEXUAL ENERGY IS A LOVE AFFAIR BETWEEN OUR HEART AND OUR BODY
There is a profound link between mental health, happiness, creativity, and sexual pleasure.
Sexual pleasure is a significant aspect of a woman’s full well-being in terms of body, mind, and soul. But to access sexual pleasure we have to start at the roots that are deeper than sex itself.
Unfortunately, society has shaped the stereotypical relationship between men and women, the masculine and feminine.
We’ve all been taught to perform and control.
We’ve been taught false promises of power, and have been instilled with fears of letting go.
Learning to trust sexual energy in ourselves and in others is an infinite part of life and part of love.
Sexual energy is powerful.
It has the potential for great purity and it can also be abused with devastating consequences.
The healing journey is embracing our own energy in its purity, and embracing each other’s sexuality in its purity - whether that is in our sisters or in an intimate partnership.
Sexual energy is healing.
It can cleanse, purge, purify, tonify, invigorate, awaken, and channel new life - whether metaphorically or literally.
What we often don't realise is how much power we really have. We may not always be treated as though we have it, but we do.
We may not have been taught to treat ourselves like we have it or believe that we have it, but we do.
Once we awaken to claiming the power of ourselves, the power of our bodies, our hearts, and our sexuality as ours, magic happens, healing happens, and a great awakening happens.
Our sexual energy is a love affair between our hearts and bodies. It’s relishing in the sensuality of love and flesh.
It’s pleasure and heart.
It’s body and spirit.
It’s not contained to our pelvic and sacral roots.
It’s not contained to our yoni’s but can be ignited from them.
It’s a full-body awakening.
It’s a kundalini awakening of all our energy centres.

What turns us on?
What turns us on to LIFE and makes us feel alive?
What opens, heals, and awakens all the energy centres within you? From your root to your crown.
What ignites your sense of safety and security?
Your creativity?
Your will?
Your ability to love and receive love?
Your ability to honour, speak and express your truth?
Your ability to hear and trust your intuition?
And your ability to embody your divinity?
This is our access to discover our sexual sensual energy.
It’s the realisation that our sexual energy is woven within ALL of it.
It’s not getting stuck in our comfort zones of energy or life, it’s pushing ourselves to experience all of it.
It’s feeding our desires and curiosities, facing our fears, being vulnerable, taking risks, chasing adventures, and cultivating safety, comfort, and trust.
It’s learning how to push ourselves and how to not push too hard.
Our sexuality is also learning how to support those we love to traverse this energy and awaken this range of life within themselves too.
Sexual energy is meant to be shared. Whether that’s with spirit or a human being.
It’s a sacred energy that we can find new portals of life through. New portals to our soul that we can’t quite access on our own.
It’s learning our boundaries, finding our voice, and learning how to honour one another’s needs as well as our own.
It’s supporting one another from a place of love, respect, and honour while cultivating genuine trust.
We get to choose our boundaries, our adventure, and who is a part of it, and we get to claim what is true to us. The choice is the scariest part. Facing the truth is scary. This is why the heart and womb are woven.
Sexual energy is raw and vulnerable and asks us to surrender to it. It can’t be controlled and free at the same time.
